Certain pieces, with their soft surfaces and muted tones, reflect the natural environment in which their material is found. Others betray it, creating universes of their own within their hollow bellies.

Fashion Trends at the End of Time
We’ve entered a chaotic new phase of personal style. From the resurgence of ironic graphic baby tees, Tiktok girlies in massive parachute pants teaching you how to cut tights into trend-bending tops, Heliot Emil’s ulta-utilitarian SS 22 collection arming you with the goods to survive an alien-invasion-meets-Chernobyl level disaster, everything in the current fashion landscape points to the same thing: weird, absurd, ugly. Long gone are the days of cute summer-camp-nostalgia beaded necklaces and matching sweat suits; they’ve been wholly replaced by apocalypse-chic.

Master of Brutality Exhibition Review
Master of Brutality is a group exhibition of experimental objects curated by Jean-Michel Gadoua and New Studio. Inaugurated by two subsequent shows in Williamsburg and Montreal, the exhibition celebrates raw materials and spontaneous gestures as an antidote to impersonal manufacturing.
