We’ve entered a chaotic new phase of personal style. From the resurgence of ironic graphic baby tees, Tiktok girlies in massive parachute pants teaching you how to cut tights into trend-bending tops, Heliot Emil’s ulta-utilitarian SS 22 collection arming you with the goods to survive an alien-invasion-meets-Chernobyl level disaster, everything in the current fashion landscape points to the same thing: weird, absurd, ugly. Long gone are the days of cute summer-camp-nostalgia beaded necklaces and matching sweat suits; they’ve been wholly replaced by apocalypse-chic.Continue reading
